This one is simple, and adjusts the amount of noise going to the snare and the toms. It makes a big difference, and is normally adjustable by a pot inside the 606.
All you need to do, is unsolder the pot TM3 (a 10k white trimmer inside the box), and run wires from where the pot was originally and make it externally controlable. You can use the same pot if you like, but it's just a 10k pot, so no big deals there.
This one is from a guy that used to post to AH all the time called Filip Sneppe. He came up with some cool stuff many years ago. This allows you to fine tune the tempo of the 606, very useful, especially when it's not synced to something!
Find the tempo trimmer (100k white pot, mounted just near the main tempo pot) and replace it with an externally controllable 100k pot. Done!
